Regular scheduled Sunday evening classes start again tomorrow, September 11, at 6:30pm. This is a series of 12 classes designed to teach you an easy yoga flow tailored for your body.
This class is specifically designed for you if you: have never tried yoga and are very curious what all the fuss is about
don't think you're flexible need to learn techniques to relax your overworked, injured body - want to develop a yoga "routine", ie. learn to incorporate yoga into your daily life
All you need to bring is your loose, comfortable clothing, an empty stomach, cash and a smile. Yoga mats, bolsters, blankets, straps, blocks and cushions will be supplied if you need them.
Location: Three Jewels Vancouver 9 East Broadway (above Pacey's Pianos) Please arrive 15 minutes before class so we can finish on time at 7:45pm. These classes are inspired by Erich Schiffmann in his book, Yoga The Practice of Moving into Stillness.
Other influences are the Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin traditions taught by Eoin Finn, Shiva Rea, Bernie Clark, Susan Horning, Reno Muenez and Lama Marutt, as well as, Shiatsu Massage taught by Ted Thomas at Sourcepoint.
